As a pedal junkie, I spend plenty of time around gearhounds and equipment obsessives and... not many of them really clamor for tremolos. Though there are people who love their trem units, they probably get less love than they should-- tremolos can be used in a lot of fun, interesting ways, and they deserve bonus points for being the Patient Zero of guitar effects units.
